Sophie Update (f/k/a Cleary)

Cleary had been hanging out with some of my friends in MInneapolis as I tried to decide if she were going to be a 'show girl' or not. When her nose noticeably changed from a black color, I knew she would not be able to be shown. There was so much I loved about her, her beautiful head, large round ears, sweet temperament and low stationed with moderate bone. However knowing that I can't keep everything, I decided to try and find her a home.

Cleary is now Sophie and since mid-December she has been a big city girl, living in Milwaukee right on Lake Michigan. Her older brother Duncan the Old English Sheepdog love her to bits, as does her mommy :) As you can tell she already rules the roost here and is the spoiled Goddess that she should be! Thank you Jeanie for taking the little Cleary-Bell and making Sophie such a great home :) I look forward to seeing her grow up in to the beautiful girl I know she already is

Update on Duncan Miles (f/k/a Mr. Cole)

I'm not sure a dog could be more loved or doted on than Mr. Duncan Miles! He and his Pem sister Lucy are quite the team now according to their mom! I couldn't decide which photos she had sent me should be on the blog so I picked a few of my favorites and a few random ones to give you an idea of just how awesome his home is. He gets to go to the groomers, Petco, lots of walks and has a plethora of bones and such to keep him occupied when he and Lu are not running full out in the house. He is a Levi x Daisy pup and is a pink (e/e) pup. Notice how his nose color is just an off black now for those genetic junkies :) I miss him but seeing these pics fills my heart with love for him, and for his new family. It was totally meant to be, and everything happens as it should. Thank you Leslie for being an amazing person and a great mommy to one of my pups :)

Brodie and Baylor

I wanted to do a few updates on some of the pups that were born here and now live with fantastic families elsewhere. The first dogs I wanted to talk about are the celebrities Brodie and Baylor. They have been seen on the "Daily Corgi" blog several times and their families keep me UTD on all their doings. Fantastic homes. I hope I am always blessed with such great homes :)

The first two photos are of Brodie (f/k/a Bannick) from the Pilot x Ell litter. He was the first puppy to leave and I met his lovely parents when I was at the National in Gettysburg, PA. Brodie lives the life of a very active and spoiled dog. My heart warms with the knowing he is in the best hands ever!

He is like his sisters and mother in their love of the water buckets...

Brodie's family loved him so much, that when I had another litter their daughter and her partner inquired about a puppy. Not only are Brodie and Baylor REAL cousins, they are also cousins in pedigree. Below is Baylor (f/k/a Cam) and he is out of my Levi x Daisy litter. He was puppy #10 to come out and was my favorite for quite some time. He has turned in to a handsome lad! His moms picked him up while I was in Milwaukee for a dog show this summer and he too was the first puppy to leave from that litter. I see a pattern.....

The best thing is that Brodie and Baylor are best buds and they get to hang out often. You can kind of see the similarities in the next few photos :)

Thank you all for giving Baylor and Brodie such fantastic homes! They are truly loved and adored by all who meet them, and I think the feeling is mutual ;)

Cole and Cleary Photo Shoot

I've had a few inquiries over the months for these two pups, but never anything solid. If it was, it fell through. So Tylor took the pups for a photo shoot to the Living Room. Their first photo they weren't too sure they wanted a photo shoot.

Cole and Cleary are looking for their forever homes. Puppy K graduates, house trained, leash trained, crate trained. They are up to date on shots, de wormed, well socialized with kids, cats and other dogs. Please inquire if you know of someone looking for a new family member!

Available

Daisy is now available to her forever home. She just turned 4 years of age in June, is a CHIC dog with all of her health clearances. She is house/leash/crate trained and a very loving couch dog. Daisy would need a fenced in yard.

I also have two of her pink boys still available. They have been getting lessons in leash training, are fairly well house/crate trained and are UTD on vaccinations as well. They are 16 weeks old and need to go to homes soon. They have both been to Puppy K classes and are well socialized with kids and other dogs/cats.

Barb's girl and two more hopefuls.

The first two photos are of Ceynowa, the brindle bitch that is going to live with Barb in Canada. Campbell, the one I am keeping is nearly identical to her sister Ceynowa, and everyone is excited that this breeding produced such top quality bitches.

Ceynowa the third time on the table ever (I was slacking yes). Both sisters stack naturally and without fuss. They will fantastic to be in the ring showing!

The 'ee' bitch below and brindle male I am running on for the time being. There is much to like about both of them, so we will see how they turn out as they age. I love growing pups on to learn and be educated about how they grow, so time will tell.

Introducing.....

Jon Kimes flew to Minneapolis this morning to help evaluate my Levi x Daisy litter. I had a few favorites and was curious to see which ones Jon picked as his favorites. I wasn't too far off ;)

This is the brindle bitch that is staying here: Ebonwald Merrymoon Pluperfect Charmed I'm Sure, aka Campbell. The side photos are of her 'off' side.

I was excited when I saw a similar breeding that they did with Daisy's aunt Gwen, and had was secretly hoping for something just as lovely. Turns out they are better than their mother :)

I'm always grateful for Jon and Barb's guidance and especially happy with the outcome of this litter! Thank you Jon for taking the time to come evaluate the litter. Barb's puppy will be meeting her in a few months when we all gather at the Western Reserve. I'm running a few more from this litter but the two brindle bitches were the standouts.

puppy fever at 9 weeks.

Some candid photos of Levi x Daisy litter. I'm having them evaluated this weekend and will have professional photos taken then. Sorry for THAT delay :) From what I can see they all have long upper arms (YAY!) and great movement, nice length and pretty heads.

This is the brindle boy Cass. He is a barker and always wanting to be on your lap.

Candy is the lightest of the 'ee' puppies. she also has the most body splashes.

Ceynowa has killer movement. she is the most reserved of the puppies as well.

I seem to have missed Cole somehow in the photo taking. I'll look for one of him.

Now if this doesn't express comfort I don't know what does.....this boy's name is Cable. He's a love!

This little brindle girl's name is Campbell. Puppy call names are again after Minnesota Lakes (they all start with C in this litter)

This boy (puppy #10) is Cam. He's been the boy I've had my eyes on since birth. Time will tell if I'm right ;)

Pups sleeping in the litter box. Both pinks have body splashes. I just thought they were cute they were facing the same way in the same position...The light pink on the right is a girl and her name is Candy. The darker pink on the left is a boy and his name is Cole.

The two spooners again. These two have spooned each other since birth! The brindle is a male (puppy #1) and his name is Cass. he's a barker and Mr. Personality. He will come sit next of the xpen or crate side and bark and howl to get your attention. the pink girl he is spooning is Cleary.

The brindle girl with the body splash up over her hip on the off side. Her name is Ceynowa. No shame this girl.

The entire litter is super sweet, very active puppies! Daisy is still nursing, although I'm separating her for most of the day each day as they just mob her when she goes in. they still nurse about 4 times a day, and are eating as a group just about 5 pounds of food per day...usually cottage cheese, and then ground chicken necks/backs or ground beef heart.
