Zoe is confirmed pregnant :)
The vet said for sure six, but more like 8. I had some techs say that with her size already, she could have 10-11. I'm happy with 8! At any given time in the ultrasound we could see 3-4 sacs with moving babies inside!
Zoe has already gained several pounds. How much weight should she be gaining per week or over the entire pregnancy? She is typically 30 pounds.

Ruby gained about 7-8lbs throughout her pregnancy. Not sure if that is normal for a Cardigan, as it was our first home bred litter. I'm sure some of the old time breeders will chime in. :)

Garrett, ultrasound is notoriously unreliable for predicting the number of puppies. If you have a burning need to know the number, have Zoe x-rayed later in the pregnancy. It's great to know there are live little puppies in there though. Thinking "healthy puppies, easy whelp".

Pearl weighs in at 32 for show weight... the last litter of 13.5 oz babies X 8 babies = 54lbs at delivery. SCARY BIG!
Ooooh, potential merles...blue girls blue girls blue girls! I'm so wishing I could add a new Cardi to the family...can't wait for pictures!!
