Goals..

In case you aren't on facebook, since December 19th I've lost close to 30 pounds and nearly 3 inches off of my waist. The first half of the weight was due to stress, the second half to the 'new me'.

I've never felt so invigorated, full of life and energy and can't help but be excited.

The worst was training the mind that it was OK to not eat stuff. It will be three years in July that I gave up soda. Last year I gave up deep fried foods ( I will still eat fries and such if they are baked). This year I've given up processed foods and preservatives.

It sounds extreme. And it is! I've never felt so great!! My cleansing is only 5 days from over and then I'm on to the Atkins diet for three weeks. I've been running, and am doing a relay marathon in Fargo in May with two of my cousins and another friend. Should be a fantastic time!

Bring it on life! I'm ready for ya!! Its good to be me right now. I'm in the best health and shape of my life!! WOHOO!!

Yay Garrett!! I am on a similar journey and have been since about July of last year. I have lost 50 pounds and umpteen inches. Doesn't it just amaze you how good you feel every day? I went through and detailed my journey in one of my first few blog posts...if you're interested in reading about it. But, just wanted to say good on ya lad! =]
