Justice is in LOVE

Well I guess I need to cancel Daisy's appointment for her hips and elbows.

She has come into season (thanks to Zoe pulling her in) and Justice in in LOVE with her. All he wants to do is play with her and chase her around. She's at day 3 and she's officially been denied the right to play outside with Mitcham and Justice (her two favorite in the house!)

He and Ell ( I think its a Merrymoon trait (HA HA BARB!)) have this tea pot whistle (similar to GSP whines) and Justice will NOT stop whistling/whining/pining for Daisy. Its ridiculous. Mac and Oliver NEVER did that when the girls were in season. Heck Mitcham doesn't even do it now.

*sigh*

I guess I'll reschedule for two months from now >:)

She made it!

According to Delta Cargo, she arrived in Kennewick, WA and was signed over to the pick up person :)

Let's all say it together " fertile, fertile, fertile. Girls, girls, girls!"

This photo here was last night before we left for Minneapolis....those blue eyes give the SADDEST face :( makes my heart just about break!

Chillaxin'

I need to carry my camera at the ready all the time. These cute photos present themselves more than I have my camera on and near me....

Apparently I need more lighting in my house to get rid of the 'flash eyes'

I still think its a cute photo ;;)

Thought provoking words

I read the below tidbit from an article on President Obama's remarks at the U.N. Assembly. I highlighted the blue words as my emphasis. I think this is great for forward thinking, positive minded folk like myself and you readers out there. I need to put it on my website somewhere.....

"Power begets power, and success begets success, and no one knows this better than Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel. " in politics, power is not static" he said in an interview Wednesday with PBS' Charlie Rose. "As you use it, if you're successful, it accumulates to achieve other goals."

take a little trip, take a little trip, take a little trip and see.....

The ZM (Zoe-Meister) is taking a BIG little trip...to several states I've never been to....to see her first suitor. Time will tell what happens...but I"m both sad she is leaving me and jealous she gets to see part of the country I haven't seen! Fingers crossed for a safe journey!

Win photos

I got these a day after Dawn got hers, but I haven't really thought about posting them on here, so I finally scanned them in. They are what they are. Neither shows off what I like about the dogs...Zoe was not cooperating on the slippery grooming table, but it was better than NO grooming table!! :)

I'm really hoping I can get that last major on Ell. She's only needed that major since ....what May? I guess we haven't shown very much either so can't really be whining :)

Mitcham's 3rd three-point major

Zoe's 2nd four-point major to finish! I hadnt' even groomed her freshly bathed and standing straight up hair off of her hip because I was thinking Ell would have a better chance at winning. Just proves how much I know :)

My next venture with the Ebonwald crew

Mac Attack!

I got this photo via Facebook :) Leslie and Mac and Ellie went on the Shelter Trek on Saturday. I'm' assuming this was to raise funds for the local shelter but maybe Leslie can fill us all in. I know she checks this blog :)

Isn't he just the cutest thing? I understand he didn't really like being the shark, but I think he's doing much better than when we tried antlers on him at Christmas time for photos :)

I think i'm crazy

So this coming weekend I HAVE to go to this sheep show. I am delivering sold sheep and picking up a few sheep from friends who were holding them for me. I haven't been able to really halter train the sheep due to my foot, so they are a bit....um....fiesty...on the lead >:)

The good news is that I am NOT going to be the one showing them, but having friends and just spectators take them into the ring for me. Its nice that Briony is coming with me to help unload the truck and trailer and to basically make sure I keep my foot elevated and I don't over do it.

Its already been over a week since I broke my foot and I've done more than I should have this week as my dad hasn't really had the time to help me much, and I haven't found anyone else to help me out. I've been quite creative in how I am able to do things, but its followed my a long elevated foot session on the couch.

We'll see how this all plays out.

Oh and Zoe is not in season yet. Maybe she didn't want to have puppies in the winter?

OK I have an excuse

Remember the 'no excuses' post I bragged about just a few days ago?

Yea.....

Forget that.

I broke my foot!

I know.

I can't believe it either.

I now finally have enough subsiding of the pain for awhile to reach the computer to let you all know.

Its pitiful and it could not have happened at a worse time.

three agility classes, agility training on my new equipment, dog show this weekend, sheep show next weekend, training sheep to be halter trained. I have three different people coming for sheep that they bought from me in the next six days. I still have to clean barn, clean house, tag sheep, health papers, wormers etc. Oh and I have a job....Labor Day weekend i have all sorts of yards to mow, trim and blow off driveways....I can't walk, and I sure as heck shouldn't be driving.

Four weeks of elevated foot, little work and lots of ice. WTH am I supposed to do? this is going to KILL me..

ugh...

If i didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any at all!

Its official now!

No excuses

Yesterday I picked up my new four jumps and weaves (that can be made into channels or in-line weaves with the twist of a few poles). They have been added to the tire jump. THANK YOU to Luanne for doing a 'trade' deal for mowing her lawn, she gave me agility equipment in payment! How cool! They are top notch, AKC approved jumps and tire and weaves and they are done with the utmost care and craftsmanship. I just need to get colored tape for the jumps and weaves and tire and we should be set. Now I just need someone to make the contacts for me. :)

So Sadie, Ell and Zoe won't know what hit them and we have no excuses but to practice now at home too!
